Is it possible to dye natural black hair brown?

Hi, I'm asian so I have black hair, would a normal brown hair dye work for my black hair? Or will it have no affect, so I have to bleach it, which is what i'd hate to do coz my hair might fall out.Is it possible to dye natural black hair brown?
you don't have to bleach it, just lighten it, also known as lifting.





you don't have to bleach it pure white.





and also maybe after lifting, deep condition hair over night,


or how ever nights you want to.


to make hair healthy agian, plus asian hair is made of steel

you don't have to bleach it ok wrong thing to do since your hair is naturally black but go to the salon to get this done they will put color and put a volume of 30 to 40 which means that the volume will lift the black and the brown will be able to settle in don't worry if its your first time it doesn't really damage your hair

and now im 16 .... i've dye it like 8 times----- or more with different colors from dark brown,brown,auburn brown,to blond :D

Black to brown is easy. You can use a normal brown hair dye.


Although, what shade of brown? If it's a dark~ish brown, it'll be easier to achieve. A light shade of brown...I'm not sure of.

Asian hair can be a bit more resistant than some, but if you have no artificial color in your hair, it should work. For best results, have it done in a salon!
yes, you may have to use a hair dye closer to blond.





i have dark bron hair and i tried to dye it blond. allthat happened was it turned light brown.
I don't think it's a smart idea to do by yourself.

yes it does work, my friend is african and has naturally dark coarse hair and she did it and it worked perfectly and looks nice! DONT bleach it! good luck xo:-)
