Well for one thing. You would have to bleach your hair to get it to blonde. And your hair will be left an orange color. Which is what it's suppose to be because bleach strips the color from hair and leaves the base for all hair colors which is orange. And then, you are suppose to put in the blonde color you wanted. That's how it works for darker-haired people because it's hard to achieve a light color. If I were you I wouldn't go for a light brown. The bleaching will damage your hair. If you dont have gray hairs I dont think you should dye your hair. If you do or just wana change your hair color go for a dark brown.
It will turn a sickly brown- with a greenish tint. I wouldn't try going black immediately. Dye it a dark brown first, then move on to dying it black.
