How can I dye my natural black hair to a dark brown shade?

My hair is naturally jet black. Can I get it to be dark brown if I dye it with a store bought dye? (Without bleaching it or stripping the color)How can I dye my natural black hair to a dark brown shade?

ive tried repeatedly to dye my hair brown/blonde/colors after i dyed it black...it never worked.





just get a color stripper, it will be easier.
I once had very long curly brown hair, then chopped it off for the Kate Gosselin do- I even once had red highlights. It was quite a sight!
Thats a hard thing to do! I would spend the money and bleach it then re die it. It would cast u about $150
